Last updated 6 September 2026 · applies to Sleep Wind for iPhone, version 1.0
Sleep Wind has no servers. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs of any kind. It contains no networking code, so there is nowhere for your information to go, and this policy is short because there is very little to describe.
If you grant permission, Sleep Wind reads one kind of data from Apple Health: your Sleep Analysis records — the bedtimes, wake times and sleep stages your watch or another app has already written there. It reads the last 90 days.
What it does with them, entirely on your iPhone:
This happens in the app's own process, on the device. Health data is never transmitted anywhere, never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with anyone — including us. We have no way to receive it.
Sleep Wind asks for read access only. It requests no permission to write, and it writes nothing back to Health.
Granting access is optional. Without it the app is a complete sleep-sound app — every sound, the wake ramp and the alarm all work; only the parts shaped to your own history are unavailable. You can withdraw access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Sleep Wind, or in the Health app under Sharing → Apps. Sleep Wind keeps no copy, so withdrawing it takes effect immediately.
Sleep Wind stores a small amount of information locally, in its own container:
None of this leaves the device. If you back your iPhone up to iCloud or a computer, it is included in that backup, in the same way as any other app's data, and is covered by Apple's protection of your backup. Deleting Sleep Wind deletes all of it.
Sleep Wind sells one thing: a single, one-time unlock. There is no subscription. The purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, your card, your address or your Apple Account — the app is told only whether the unlock has been bought, and nothing else. Apple's own privacy policy governs the transaction.
If you turn on Wake me, the time you set is handed to iOS so the alarm can break through Focus and silent mode and can fire even if the app is not running. It is held by the system on your device.
Sleep Wind is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.
If a future version of Sleep Wind handles data differently, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change. Since the app has no servers, any change would have to arrive as an app update you choose to install.
